Religion

The duchy has always been forward-thinking in terms of meeting the spiritual needs of its subjects. Isermno was first among the European community in formally enacting religious freedom. Everyone is free to practice any religion he chooses, so long as it is the state religion. As an added safeguard against falling sway to a false religion, the duchy has outlawed both heresy and apostasy. Attendance at religious services has never been higher, thanks to enforcement of pious discipline.
